On Sunday, June 18, 2023, the Town of Green Level will host its third Juneteenth Celebration at Green Level Municipal Park, 1414 Swann Rd, Green Level, NC. Juneteenth, also known as Emancipation Day, celebrates June 19, 1865, arrived in Texas to deliver the final news of the Emancipation Proclamation. From bounce houses, to dunking booths; craft vendors, to food trucks; there is family-fun for all to enjoy! We also welcome special guest appearances by Miss A&T, Aniya Bradsher, Brooklyn music artist, M E, and on-going entertainment by the one and only 3 Stax Band!
