Public Works Department

The public works department plans organize, directs, and integrates the Town’s public works and utilities activities and function. In addition, the department provides expert professional assistance to Town management in areas of expertise, including municipal water, wastewater collection, and street maintenance. They are also responsible for all sampling requirements set forth by the State of North Carolina Department of the Environment and Natural Resources.
