Question: The Code Enforcer position has been advertised for over 8 months. What is the hold up on filling this position?

Response:  Since my arrival in July, very few applicants have applied for the position of Code Enforcer.  Of the few who applied, none had the basic qualifications for the position or they withdrew their application.  For several months the Town has contracted with a company to provide code enforcement services until a new code enforcement employee can be found.  The Town continues to look for qualified applicants for this position.  If you know some one who is interested and has the skills or qualifications to fill the position, please encourage them to apply.  Thank you for your question.
