Water and Sewer Fees
Water bills are due on the 18th of every month, even if you don’t receive a bill. You may call The Town Hall for your balance at (336) 578-3443.
*** Failure to receive a bill does NOT excuse payment for it. Nonpayment will result in fees and ultimately disconnection. Late fee ($12) is added on the next business day following the due date and the Re connect fee is ($20) comes 7 days after.***
To begin water service at your residence you may download a Water application, if you desire to fill it out before coming in to apply for services:

Water Bill Adjustments
We recognize that Green Level’s water bill is high and want to aid customers who have water leaks with their sewer expenses; therefore, we will provide residential customers* with a sewer adjustment one time each year if a leak does occur and is fixed. The Town does require proof that a leak has been repaired. If the resident has chosen to fix the leak, a receipt for parts purchased will serve as proof. If a resident hires someone, a receipt of payment for services rendered on the company’s letterhead will be required. All requests for water bill adjustments (with proof) must be submitted to the Town no later than the 10th of each month in order to be processed for the current bill.
If you are going to construct a new swimming pool and it is 2′ deep or greater, please contact the code enforcer, for the required permit and inspection. Alamance County also requires a permit and inspection. If you don’t want to be charged for the sewage for your pool fill up, please call us before and after you fill the pool, so that we may send someone out to obtain water meter readings before and after and adjust your sewer charges accordingly.
*Residential customers do not include mobile home park accounts and mobile home parks do not qualify for this once a year adjustment.
